What kind of a reader are you? (Somewhere from you read books for fun and you only read text messages)

Bible

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8

How can God’s word lead to blessings in your life?

What does it mean to meditate on God’s word? How can you make this a part of your life?

Why is it important to not just know God’s word but also to be careful to do it?

Have you ever had a time when obeying something in the Bible was hard for you to do?  Share if you can.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. -Pslams 119:105

God’s word is meant to protect us.  How does the Bible protect our lives?

Have you ever done something that hurt your life that you wouldn’t have done if you had been listening and applying God’s word?

The Bible can also show us what path to take.  If you can, share a time when the Bible helped guide you.

Make it personal:

What is your current Bible reading like?  What do you think a good Bible reading habit would be?
