Do you ever feel like Christians are looked down on in our culture?  Why do you think that is?

When you have difficult questions about God, what is your process for finding answers? How does that process impact your faith?

The Problem of Pain

If someone said to you “If God can do anything and God is good, why is there evil in the world?”  What would you say?

PJ talked about how to have true “good” and “evil” there must be a moral law, and if there is a moral law there must be a moral lawgiver (God).  Does this make sense to you?  Is part of this confusing?

How does our free will affect the existence of evil in the world?

Finding Hope

When you are going through something difficult, what do you do?

Speaking of eternity the bible says: He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. -Rev 21:4

  • How does knowing that suffering is temporary influence the way you view it?

Share about a time when you saw God use a painful part of your story for good. What was that experience like?
